Chongqing Xinmeng Precision Instrument Co., Ltd. participated in the European Mould Exhibition

Time:2019-07-03

Since the 1980s, under the support and guidance of the national industrial policy and a series of national economic policies, China's mold industry has developed rapidly, with an average annual growth rate of 13%. In 1999, China's mold industry output value was 24.5 billion. In 2002, the total output value of China's molds was about 36 billion yuan, of which about 30% were plastic molds. In the future mold market, the proportion of plastic molds in the total mold volume will gradually increase.

China's plastic mold industry has gone through more than half a century since its inception, and has achieved great development. In the large mold, it has been able to produce plastic molds for 48-inch large-screen color TV plastic injection molds, 6.5Kg large-capacity washing machines, plastic molds for automobile bumpers and integral instrument panels, and precision plastic molds. Multi-cavity small modulus gear mold and plastic mold. For example, Tianjin Jinrong Tianhe Electromechanical Co., Ltd. and Yantai Polaris I.K Mould Co., Ltd. manufacture multi-cavity VCD and DVD gear molds, and the dimensional accuracy, coaxiality, and bounce requirements of such gear plastic parts have reached abroad. The level of similar products, but also the latest gear design software, corrected the tooth shape error caused by molding shrinkage, reaching the standard involute tooth shape requirements. It can also produce one-two-cavity aerospace cup molds with a thickness of only 0.08mm and difficult plastic door and window extrusion molds. The injection molding cavity has a manufacturing precision of 0.02mm~0.05mm and a surface roughness of Ra0.2μm. The quality and life of the mold are obviously improved. The life of the non-hardened steel mold can reach 100,000 to 300,000 times, and the hardened steel mold can reach 50 to 10 million times. The delivery time is shorter than before, but there is still a big gap compared with foreign countries. The specific data is shown in Table 1

In terms of molding process, great progress has also been made in the innovation of multi-material plastic molding die, high-efficiency multi-color injection mold, insert interchange structure and core release mechanism. The use of gas-assisted injection molding technology has become more mature. For example, Qingdao Hisense Mould Co., Ltd. and Tianjin Communication Broadcasting Co., Ltd. have successfully applied gas-assisted technology to molds of 29-34-inch TV casings and some thick-walled parts. The manufacturer also used C-MOLD gas-assisted software to achieve better results. Companies such as Haixin Pres can provide gas-assisted molding equipment and technology to users. Hot runner molds have been promoted, and some plants have adopted more than 20%. Generally, internal heat or external heat hot runner devices are used. A few units use high-difficult needle-type hot runner molds with world-class levels. However, the adoption rate of hot runners is generally less than 10%, which is quite different from 50% to 80% of foreign countries.

In terms of manufacturing technology, the application level of CAD/CAM/CAE technology has reached a new level. As a representative of enterprises producing household appliances, a considerable number of CAD/CAM systems have been introduced, such as UGII of the US EDS and Parametric Technology of the United States. Pro/Emgineer, CADS5 of CV of the United States, DOCT5 of Deltacam of the United Kingdom, CRADE of HZS of Japan, Cimatron of Israel, C-Mold of AC-Tech of the United States and MPA Molding Analysis Software of Moldflow of Australia. Although the introduction of these systems and software has cost a lot of money, in the mold industry of China, CAD/CAM integration has been realized, and CAE technology can be supported to carry out computer simulation of the molding process, such as filling and cooling, and has achieved certain The technical and economic benefits have promoted and promoted the development of China's mold CAD/CAM technology. In recent years, China's self-developed plastic mold CAD/CAM system has developed greatly, mainly including CAXA system developed by Beihang Huazheng Software Engineering Research Institute, injection mold HSC5.0 system developed by Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and CAE software. The software has the characteristics of adapting to the specific conditions of domestic molds, application on a microcomputer and low price, and has created favorable conditions for further popularizing mold CAD/CAM technology.
